Our fourth well, a Biosand Filter in Svay Totuem, Cambodia.

Dear All, we're so happy to share with you the picture of our latest water project, this one in Cambodia. Actually, this was the first project we financed through charity:water back in 2010 (remember this, this and this?), and thanks to the good efforts of the Samaritan's Purse partner, it is now finished!

Here you can see where it is (and in this link, some more info):

The families in Svay Totuem are very happy with the BioSand Filter because it is both easy to use and has clear benefits. The families no longer have to collect firewood or buy charcoal to boil their water before drinking it, which saves them both time and money. They are overjoyed with this new technology.

Please help contributing for our latest campaign. We are still halfway through: http://www.justgiving.com/supportinc5

The 11Steden bicycle tour campaign

Each activity is a chance to promote different ways to support those who need it. And in that mood, I (Pablo) decided to bike for water in the dutch 11Steden Bicycle tour.

The 11Steden tour goes through 11 towns in norther Holland, for a total of 240km. The tour is non-competitive, which means there is maximum speed and it takes at least 10 hours to complete.

I carried my mobile phone and used the stops to report on the tour. You can see the full "documentary" in my personal blog (http://eloriundo.blogspot.com/). You can see an small video here of the beautiful weather we had to endure:

At the end, we proved again that the only thing people need to go and help, is the chance to do it! We managed to bike the 240km, and we got 70 euro cents per km, plus a couple of extra donations, for a grand total of 170 euros!!

THANKS again to all those who collaborated, motivated me during the race, and keep making it possible for supportinc to finance its projects!
