The first finished water well!!

The title talks for itself: water wells are been made thanks to your contributions! Friends like you donated to our three campaigns for water wells, and now we can show you the results, the proof that a difference is been made. This is the picture of the first water well, finished on April 27 in the Chinkhota village of Malawi:

There is no real success here, only one little step forward. There is a water crisis in the world. Hundreds of millions do not have access to this basic resource and this is only the beginning.

The third well is completed!

Great News: We COMPLETED the THIRD water well !!

Thanks everyone for the birthday presents, parties, donations, cake sales, marathon runs, and for the many independent donations that let us achieve this goal!

An the best part is that the money from the party in Delft, is not yet uploaded! so the fourth water well will soon get almost one third of the founds, for a great kick start!

And then, there was the party!

A great party indeed. Quite some people filled the place, danced and had fun, all for the cause of the water wells.

The partial balance by now is 300€, and that is still going to grow! once we talk to the bar owners, we will now how much will the tap add to the total.

We will keep you posted! In the meantime, a couple pictures from the party:

Bad Pablo didn't post on time the results of the marathon but here they are:

Liza made a nice 1h50, followed closely by Caroline who made it in 2h20. But what is more important is that between the two of them and with the support of all their friends, they made half of the money they needed for the 3rd water well!! and not stopping there, they also made a cake-sale that gave the well and extra 114 pounds, and the support from more people who donated to the campaign in the last days.

So, the well is already founded to the 60%!! will we make it full after tomorrow's party??? come an join us there to make that happen!!

The second well is completed!!

Do you remember the campaign for the second water well, together with pumpAid? Well, we are happy to announce that it is done! finished! completed!!

The funds were already transfered to PumpAid, and they wrote us that:

It usually takes around 3months from the receipt of the donation until the end of the project. Once the Elephant Pump is installed we will be able to provide you with a photo, GPS coordinates and information on the village the pump was installed in.

Be assured that you will all know about it as soon as they send us the information.

And in the meantime, a third fundraising campaign has started! Liza and Caroline are going to run the Bath Half Marathon, and are accepting support in the form of donations to PumpAid. Good luck with your training girls!

And here it is, the Winter-let-us-be PARTY!!!

As promised, everything is ready for a new fundraising party in Delft!! on the 19th of march come and joins us to enjoy a party, and donate the gains to PumpAid.

Finally the bunch of people that called upon making a "Summer Goodbye Party" are back to work. This time for a "Winter-let-us-be party". We can only promise that this party will be better than the last one. Furthermore, we have decided to make something good out of it, and arranged so that the profits of the party are donated to a charity organization that makes water wells in Africa!!!!

We will only ask you to donate 2 euros for the water well, which will be charged as an entrance fee. (more info in http://supportinc.blogspot.com/)
